Fort Point Capital Hires New Vice President for Investment Team

Fort Point Capital, a Boston-based private equity firm focused on acquiring service-oriented companies in the lower middle market, announced today that Michael Duffy has joined the firm as a Vice President on the firm’s investment team. Michael will focus on supporting portfolio companies and executing new investments in the business-to-business services sector.

Michael has over six years of private equity experience, executing investments in middle market business services and manufacturing companies. Most recently, he served as a Vice President at MPE Partners, where he was involved in sourcing, executing, and managing private equity investments in middle market, business-to-business companies spanning a range of end markets. Prior to joining MPE Partners, Michael was an Associate at Capstone Partners, a middle market investment bank.  Michael began his career in corporate finance at Fidelity Investments.

Michael received a B.S. in Mathematical Business from Wake Forest University and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
