Lone Star Overnight Completes Refinancing

New capital structure significantly reduces borrowing costs

January 22, 2013

Boston, MA and Austin, TX — Fort Point Capital (“Fort Point”) announced the completion of the recapitalization of its portfolio company, Lone Star Overnight (“LSO” or the “Company”). Lone Star is a leading intra-regional express and ground parcel delivery company serving businesses throughout the Southwest U.S. Fort Point initially invested in LSO in April 2011. The recently completed recapitalization consisted solely of senior debt and enabled LSO to repay its higher cost unitranche debt.

“Since our initial investment, LSO has grown substantially while generating strong free cash flow, and, as a result, has reduced its leverage faster than expected,” said Brooke Ablon, a Partner at Fort Point. “The recapitalization is the direct result of the hard work of the LSO management team. The new capital structure significantly reduces LSO’s overall borrowing costs and allows all shareholders to more fully participate in the value creation occurring at the Company.”

“Lone Star Overnight has directly benefited from Fort Point’s operating and transaction expertise and we look forward to continuing our successful partnership,” said Rick Jones, Chief Executive Officer of Lone Star Overnight.
