Questions & answers

Describe your role and responsibilities at Fort Point Capital.

As part of the Operations Group, I partner with our management teams on systems, route optimization, and business intelligence initiatives. I take a builder’s approach, focusing on low-overhead solutions that minimize disruption so teams can stay focused on running the business. Ultimately, my goal is to create streamlined processes and reporting that provide clarity without the headache.

What are the biggest or the common challenges facing your portfolio companies?

Many of our portfolio companies face challenges with disparate systems, siloed data, and heavy reliance on spreadsheets. Helping teams move toward cleaner, more connected data is a big part of the value we bring.

What do you like best about your job?

I enjoy the variety that comes with working across different companies, systems, and types of data. Every project presents new challenges, and I get to collaborate with management teams from diverse backgrounds. That combination keeps the work both engaging and rewarding.
