
Fort Point Capital, a Boston-based private equity firm focused on investing in service-oriented companies in the lower middle market, has announced the addition of Marile Marzo, Chre Teitelbaum, and Tom DePoalo to its investment, operations and finance teams.
Marile Marzo comes to Fort Point with strong middle market transaction experience across multiple industry verticals. Prior to joining the firm as an Associate, Marile was an Analyst with Nomura, where she worked on the Financial Sponsors team. At Fort Point, she is focused on supporting portfolio companies and executing new investments in lower middle market services companies. Marile received a BBA in Finance and Business Analytics from Villanova University.
Chre Teitelbaum recently joined the team as the first member of Fort Point’s Operations Team, with the title of Vice President of Data Engineering. Prior to Fort Point, Chre was a consultant serving the firm’s portfolio companies and other clients, focusing on data strategy, integration and reporting. Previously, Chre worked with 3Phase Elevator, where he was responsible for route optimization, enterprise analytics, and reporting. At Fort Point, Chre is working closely with portfolio companies to improve data management and reporting, upgrade systems and increase adoption of analytics. He holds a B.S. in Economics with a minor in Business Analytics from Drexel University.
Fort Point also welcomed Tom DePoalo as the firm’s Assistant Controller. Most recently, Tom was at Standish Management where he focused on fund administration. Prior to that, he was a Manager at PwC working on tax compliance engagements in the asset management division. Tom holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Stonehill College and an M.S. in Accounting from Northeastern University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
