Fort Point Capital, a Boston-based lower middle market private equity firm focused on growing business services companies, announced today that its portfolio company, CellSite Solutions ("CellSite" or the "Company"), an industry leading provider of telecom shelter upgrade, refurbishment, civil services, and tower services, has hired Jim Patterson as the Company's Chief Executive Officer.
Jim brings a wealth of industry expertise and a strong pedigree to CellSite, having most recently served as the Chief Strategy Officer for Fastwyre Broadband, a fiber broadband and telecom company providing internet, phone and video to customers across the United States. In his role at Fastwyre, Jim led market selection, product development, and specialty business sales, while managing relationships with six state broadband offices. During his tenure, Jim helped Fastwyre triple the number of homes passed and increase market share. Prior to joining Fastwyre, Jim held leadership roles at ACN and Infotel. Jim began his career in the telecom industry at Sprint, where he spent fifteen years across many areas of the business, most recently as the President of Wholesale Services.
